Tasting Notes

Colour

Deep garnet

Aroma

Finely honed blackcurrant with a subtle background of mint

Palate

An intricate weave of these soul-mate, Bordeaux-origin varieties but with a genuine single, Clare Valley vineyard stamp. High-toned cabernet sauvignon edges forward at first with delicate layers of pepper and mint in behind, further aromatics and flavours following from the support team of varieties never veering from being juicy and eminently drinkable. Even and balanced tannins typical of the style provide line and length, while those vineyard and terroir characters of pepper and mint remain a constant reminder of its origins. Immensely enjoyable now, this will mature with great style for 10 plus years.
